Alma 37 – There are so many thoughts I could write on, but I can't get over the experience I had this afternoon and the analogy I drew. Maybe I won't have the courage to post this, but it really had an impact on me.
We've been biking the last two days and one more coming. I showered after my ride yesterday, but opted not to wash my hair. No problem. My hair will let me do that. Well, today I couldn't take it and went under the shower head – totally immersing myself in water. It felt heavenly and I felt so totally clean. Nirvana! As I was standing under the shower, I couldn't help draw a parallel between baptism by sprinkling water over the candidate and completely immersing under water. There is definitely a cleaner feeling. I do know baptism is symbolic of death, burial and resurrection. This is just where my thoughts went.
